A flashmob and street theater was arranged by Östgruppen, Swedish International Liberal Centre and the office of the Polish member of European Parliament, Marek Migalski, in the central of Stockholm on saturday. The activists where dressed as dictator Lukashenko, playing against oppositional activists with their hands bound to their backs. On the ”ice” was also a judge with a Belarusian military hat and baton, who made sure Lukashenka got his goals. The street theatre was supposed to symbolize the oppression in Belarus and the fact that even ice hockey is politics to Lukashenka. 2014, ice hockey world championship will be held in Belarus, where members of the organizing committee are among others Viktar Vjahera – former first deputy head of KGB, Ihar Shunevic – Minister of Interior and Aleh Proleskovsky – Minister of Information (propaganda). They have all been ”blacklisted” (prohibited from visiting the EU countries) by the EU because of their crimes against human rights.

The Polish Member of European Parliament Marek Migalski, Olga Karach from Nash Dom (Belarus) and the former Belarusian presidential candidate Ales Michalevic (who was imprisoned and tortured after the presidential election in 2010) also joined the action in Stockholm.
